What You Should Know About GCK

We believe that parents should be totally involved in their children’s lives. That’s why we invite parents to come to the CGK meetings. You have the right to see what your child is learning, what your child is doing, and how GCK functions. We’ll even let you have some cookies if you come.

Obviously, you don’t have to come. We want to assure you that your children will be in good hands. Our trained workers and well-staffed clubs ensure an atmosphere of security, safety, and fun. We do our best to make sure each child stays safe, including personally making sure that every kid gets back to his or her parent at the end of club.
Info for parents who wants to involve their kids

Helpful information for parents:

  • The first time your child attends GCK club, we ask that you, the parent, complete a short information sheet with contact information and any special information that would help us in caring for your child.
  • If you choose to pick up and drop off your child off at the clubsite, please make sure you make contact with a GCK club worker each time. That way, we know when each child is coming or leaving.
  • If you prefer that we pick up your child, we are happy to do so. We ask that you fill out a waiver for us, allowing us to transport your child to and from the website. A parent, guardian, or responsible must be present when we pick up and drop off the child. We guarantee that there will always be two GCK workers in the vehicle whenever we pick up or drop off your child.

GCK Parent Group

We realize that GCK isn’t just for the kids. It can bring parents together, too. Though you’re probably a bit too old for clubs, freeze tag, or dodgeball, you’re not too old to get to know people and enjoy spending time with people in the community. We invite you to join us for what we call GCK Parents when you drop off your kids.
